About EggTek
It all started on our family run farm in Northern Ireland when we built a 32k free range egg unit. We had a testing first flock, pullets with enteritis, mycotoxin contaminated feed followed by respiratory problems. This made packing our eggs a daunting task. We had poor shell quality and lost a lot of class A eggs due to liquid egg contamination on conveyor transfers. We had to find a solution.
The crack detector was the solution we came up with.

Fossil Guard Services
Our Fossil Guard is an insecticide used for biocidal purposes in poultry farming. Our product has a strong dehydrating effect on all insects that come in contact with it. You can use the product in empty barns and also barns where animals are present. Fossil Guard works steadily and long-term to fight red mites to ensure bird welfare.
Our Fossil Guard service is highly efficient and is effective for long-term protection. It is also approved for organic farming. The product can last for up to 40 weeks, depending on the weather. Our product uses silicate powder which dehydrates red mites and successfully kills them to protect your flock.Egg Belt Repairs
Our Egg Belt Repair service can repair all eggbelts via ultrasonic welding.
